Repair leaking kitchen faucet

I’d like to have my kitchen faucet repaired because water is leaking around the base. The goal is to stop the leak and leave the faucet working properly. The repair is needed tomorrow, 14 August 2026. I’m not sure yet whether replacement parts or a new faucet will be required, so the cause and any necessary parts can be assessed during the repair.
